  Early concept screenshot
As promised, thise blog will delve into the histroy and early development of the Daytipper tip sharing service. As you might recall, Daytipper was originally known as Vitamin T.

When I first wrote up the business plan, I wanted to visually depict how I envisioned the service to look. I'm not a graphic designer, obviously, but I felt a simple screenshot would quickly and easily convey the idea. Instead of writing endlessly about how I envisioned the site would function, I worked up a quick graphic in a flowchart program of all things. That graphic is what you see on the right. Simple graphics can be powerful communication tools.

Our current graphical interface hardy resembles this early screenshot. But if you look closely and compare, some of the early information architecture elements do remain. The current look and feel of the Daytipper website was designed exclusively by Tyler. I'm biased, of course, but I think it looks fantastic. Much better than my early concept! :)
