Does Taco Bell hot sauce really clean brass?
I just didn't feel comfortable exposing this tip to the site. I didn't want any emails from folks complaining to me after trying it. So, we'll post it here. Can someone please try this and report back?
Taco Bell hot sauce is the best brass polisher
Taco Bell hot sauce is the best brass polisher there is! Mild, medium or hot, they all work, but I always imagine that the hotter the better. After you polish your brass you can use it to help polish off those tacos you had to buy to get the hot sauce in the first place!

Early concept screenshot

As promised, thise blog will delve into the histroy and early development of the Daytipper tip sharing service. As you might recall, Daytipper was originally known as Vitamin T.
When I first wrote up the business plan, I wanted to visually depict how I envisioned the service to look. I'm not a graphic designer, obviously, but I felt a simple screenshot would quickly and easily convey the idea. Instead of writing endlessly about how I envisioned the site would function, I worked up a quick graphic in a flowchart program of all things. That graphic is what you see on the right. Simple graphics can be powerful communication tools.
Our current graphical interface hardy resembles this early screenshot. But if you look closely and compare, some of the early information architecture elements do remain. The current look and feel of the Daytipper website was designed exclusively by Tyler. I'm biased, of course, but I think it looks fantastic. Much better than my early concept! :)

Trendwatching highlights Daytipper

"trendwatching.com and its 8,000+ trend spotters scan the globe for emerging consumer trends." - trendwatching.com
Daytipper was mentioned in their December 2006 Trend Briefing. The title of the report was "Generation C(ash)" and discussed how consumers are generating content and are now being compensated for their efforts. We were extremely grateful for the mention . It's a great read, and not just because we are highlighted. :)

Do you want to know how to identify someone who is crazy?
I don't mean to be flippant with that title. I'm only using that language because someone in Indiana thinks they know how to spot someone who is mad or insane. Here is another rejected tip...
Spotting a crazy person!
He wants you all to himself, all the time! Your friends think he is weird! Your children want to do a background check! Your gut says no, but your loneliness says yes!
