Raising great daddies
When a newborn comes home, many Dads feel anxious and unsure. They often have less experience with infants, and may need encouragement to get involved. It may seem easier for Mom to do everything herself, but it robs Dad and Baby of important bonding time. Make sure Dad knows how to change diapers, give baths, and play safely. Dad should have Baby time without Mom around where he can build confidence. Over time, it will give Mom a break, and help Dad and Baby build a close, loving relationship.
