God gave us two ears, one nose and one mouth. It is wise to do more listening then talking. When you listen to more of what your partner is saying you get a better idea of how the other is feeling. If no one is listening, while everyone is talking at the same time, there will be no comprehension or reasoning to find sound solutions to a problem.
