When to turn off your camera flash for better pics
How many times have you seen people taking pics at night of far away things (like fireworks or a singer on stage) and their camera flash goes off? If you use your camera in auto mode, the flash will go off if the light is low - but this isn't always a good thing. Check your flash range (it'll be, VERY roughly, between 5 amd 15 metres) and if your subject is further away, TURN OFF YOUR FLASH - it won't do you any good and worse still may possibly ruin your shot.
