Three tips for college essay writing
1. BOAST OF YOUR WEAKNESSES - Essay readers suffer hundreds of "winning the big game" papers. Catch them off guard by bragging about something you've done wrong. Be vulnerable and humble. 2. DON'T USE "ATTENTION GRABBERS" - dictionary definitions and quotes are cliches. Avoid them. Start your essay by stating your "theme" in an unusual way. 3. STRUCTURE - Stick to it. Even an unconventional essay needs an intro, body, and conclusion.
