Buying/Selling
How to set a price for online listings
Avoid setting prices with round numbers like $100. Try $97 or $103 instead. Psychological studies show that with round numbers, people are more likely to negotiate in larger increments like $80 for something priced $100, whereas with more exact prices, people will tend to negotiate in small increments like $95 for something price $97.
