iPod can store and display text files
Few people are aware of the many features of the standard iPod. It can be used as a USB storage device. You can read text on any iPod by saving your text as a .txt file. Use Notepad to create a .txt file. Create a new playlist called “Notes” and drag your stored .txt files into "Notes" playlist.
