Use string cheese to enhance meat loaf flavor
Divide your favorite meat loaf mixture in two. Pat half into the baking pan, and top it with sticks of string cheese. The number of sticks needed depends on the size of your recipe. My bread-loaf pan of meat loaf takes six sticks of cheese. Leave some space between the sticks, making sure that no cheese touches the pan. Layer the remaining half of the meat and bake according to your recipe. Your slices of finished meat loaf will have polka-dots of cheese.
