Go on iTunes, select all your tracks (or your most listened to playlist), right click and click on Get Info. Once the screen comes up, change the Volume Adjustment near the bottom to +100 and click OK. This makes your selected songs twice as loud, and therefore you can turn the volume right down on your iPod, saving battery and therefore making it last longer!

Most people get at least some personal email at work. To keep this info private, create a .pst file (In Outlook) on the thumb drive. From Outlook, click file, new, outlook data file, outlook personal folders file, and point to the thumb drive. When you’re in the office, you have full access to your private email. When you leave the office, simply take the thumb drive with you. You can point Outlook to this file from any machine with Outlook installed. Instant Portable Email!
