Avoid dating a man with kids
If you are a single woman without any kids, should you date a man with kids? If you want to get serious and marry someday, it is best to avoid the man who has already been to the circus. He is not looking for wifey #2. You will never be their mom, and you will never be his wife. Find a single guy to marry and have your own kids together. Take it from someone who knows.

Try living together before getting married
Take a test run. Test the goods before you marry and live together first. With divorce rates increasing over time, this seems to be a logical response to the condition. If you're not willing to try this, I recommend you stay unmarried. Marriage is not what it used to be. It's time to realize this.

Get him to listen by ignoring his needs
Ignore his needs as much as he ignores yours. Once he realizes there's no clean underwear in his drawer and no hot food on the table he will soon be listening better than a well trained dog.

If you want your husband to be happy with your cooking, learn to cook like his mother. This would include the dishes she made as well as the combinations of food that she presented. For example, if she served ham and green beans, avoid ham and corn.

Let the dog smell your hand before you pet it
Whenever you see a dog, before you attempt to pet it make sure you let him/her smell your hand first. This will prevent the dog from being aggressive with you.

Rubbing alcohol is cheap effective facial cleanser
Rubbing alcohol is a cheap and effective facial cleanser. Apply a small amount to a cotton ball and rub all over your face. It removes make-up, oil, dirt and even bacteria. Great for acne prone or oily skin. Try it. You might even replace your normal facial cleanser.

Add oil to water to prevent pasta from clumping
When cooking pasta, add a teaspoon (or two) of oil to the water before adding the pasta. It will cook like normal but won't clump up.

Your resume should be a tease
Your resume should be a "tease" that highlights your skills. It should "shout" call this person. Keep your resume to one page. Include the last 7 to 10 years of work experience highlighting accomplishments. No one needs to know what you did in 1970 or what high school you attended. College history and awards received can make you shine. A one page resume leaves something to be discussed at the interview.

Remove portabello mushroom stem before buying
When you purchase fresh portabellos at the store rip out the stem before you check out. You don't need the stem and it just adds to the cost by making them heavier.
