Back to the band
Middle-aged folks: If you used to play a band instrument, but haven’t for a while, you can still take it up again! No need for expensive professional instruments or expensive lessons; buy a student model instrument (cheap) and just get some method books; use the Internet to learn, as well. Then, join a local community band and don’t feel pressured to play at a professional level all of a sudden; just enjoy!

Relationships
Encourage a disheartened friend
A friend in need is a friend in deed. You can help your friend surpass a tough time by giving him a friendly tap in the shoulder, treating him for a drink or two to the nearest bar and helping him cope with his problem. Give him an inspirational book or audio, listen to an encouraging music or better yet tag him for counsel to your church minister or a psychiatrist friend.

Transportation
Breathe life to your car
Would you like your car look as animate as possible? Bring more life to your wheels by placing some fresh flower in a vase. Place the vase in the cup holder of your car. Newspapers, magazines or some brochures can give your car a scholarly look. Play a good music while driving. You may have classical, inspirational or love songs in your collection.

Making New Year resolutions
Most of us make a self-imposed obligation which we call New Year’s resolutions. Before making one, decide whether you are resolute enough to make one. Having decided, stick to one resolution and make it as realistic as possible. Be definite on what you really want to do and prepare yourself for inevitable changes that may ensue in implementing it. Should you be victorious in your efforts, reward yourself and impose upon yourself a duty to be consistent all throughout.

Roll your shoulders
I have posted tips on posture before, and a great way to achieve better posture fast is to simply roll your shoulders back. Just push both shoulders up and then pull back with your back muscle, then go back to a relaxed state. This should leave you feeling better and more stretched out. Try it when you know you'll need to be sitting for a long time, especially during work!

How to buy a spa break for less
Getting a spa day and spa break can be expensive. However with a little savvy internet surfing and luck it doesn't need to cost a fortune.

Many 3rd party spa retailers are now able to offer dated spa products ie you choose the date of visit rather than a flexible voucher. These dated products can be a lot cheaper as spa venues want to fill empty slots. www.spaandpampering.com collates all the great spa offers in once place.

Solar industry education
It would seem the solar industry is about ready to burst at the seams. Obviously, this means competition in the market. That's where solar training comes in. There are tons of places, like Boots on the Roof over in California, that currently offer training for the solar-entrepreneur in you; along with the (national standard) NABCEP certification. Use it or lose it!
