How to freshen bed sheets in between changes
I change my sheets once a week and during the week my sheets sometimes get crumbs, dusty or fuzzy. To make your bed feel fresh when you get in it every night use a lint roller. I recommend the Bounce lint roller. It makes your sheets feel fresh every day and the Bounce smells like Bounce dryer sheets so it will be extra fresh.

How to feel good about yourself
Before you become too busy the whole day, take time to look at yourself in the mirror every morning. Pay close attention to your facial features and your body. That body you are staring at is the same body you’ll work with for the rest of your life. Don’t try to look like somebody else - just be yourself. Wear nice clothes. Do things that bring you joy - even try out new things - and try not to think of what others would say. Live your life! Be beautiful – feel it inside and out.

How to evenly fill up an ice cube tray
When filling up an ice-cube tray, tip the tray at approximately a 45° angle and let the water flow over each compartment. When it looks like it can't hold any more water - you're finished! Pull the tray away from the water source and then tip back to the regular position. Now you have even ice cubes that won't spill over the top of the tray.

Parking spots for bicycles in your garage
Use blue painters tape to mark the spot where bikes are supposed to be parked in the garage. When garage space is a premium this helps keep everything in it's place no matter who is putting the bike back. Also help to keep the motion sensor on an automatic garage from going off because the bike wasn't properly tucked in/parked.

How to get out of debt quick
For starters, see what you can drop. If you don’t need it, don’t get it or cancel it. Don’t want to pay cancellation fees? Most companies will put your services on hold for $5-$10 a month. If you have cable, a cell phone, and the internet, this could easily save $100-$150 monthly. Then take all extra money and put it on your smallest bill and then your next smallest bill, etc. This helps substantially.

Be a tourist in your own town
I'm currently compiling a 'Day Trip List' and notebook. I often find myself last minute trying to find a fun activity to do with my family on the perfect Saturday. I often get comments from my husband and kids, "So, what are we going to do today?" Yikes, my mind goes blank and I get frustrated. I decided to have a comprehensive list of places to visit with addresses, maps already printed out and websites associated with it so we can just GO and enjoy.

How to type non-smear addresses on envelopes
The type from most inkjet printers will run when it gets wet. To prevent the address you just typed from smearing if it is rained on, place a strip of Scotch tape over the address on the envelope. Now even if the mail carrier gets a few rain drops on the envelope, the address will be safe.

Technology
Identify all your electronic cables
To keep all your electronic cables in order, each time you get a new device (cell phone, digital camera, iPod, etc.) label each one with a strip of white tape or Scotch tape over a piece of paper (cell phone charger, digital camera to computer, scanner to computer, etc.). You might think you'll remember what each cable belongs to, but when you find yourself with a bag of similar cables, you'll wish each had a label so you'd know which cable went with which device.

How to tell when friends can play
To keep down the calls and knocks at the door, we decided that we would have a way for friends to know when others can play. Our kids made a sign and hang it on the door. When the green sign is up, they can play. If there is no sign up then we are busy.

How to get kids to eat tomatoes
If you want your little ones to eat more tomatoes try putting a can of diced tomatoes in with macaroni and cheese. In our house all we do is boil the macaroni, place cubes of cheddar cheese in the drained macaroni and add the can of tomatoes. You will be amazed when your children ask for seconds.
